hen Adi and I left the traditional school system during the COVID-19 pandemic, we stepped into the unknown. We didn't have a clear blueprint for how we would design our learning journey, but we were determined to explore and find what genuinely interested him.

This exploration led us to a more conscious approach to both learning and living.

Leaving the traditional school system requires a significant shift in mindset. It's not just about choosing to quit school; it's about taking ownership of your learning and life choices.

When you choose an alternate path, you must decide what interests you and how to pursue those interests meaningfully. For us, this meant exposing Adi to a variety of activities and experiences so he could discover his passions.

As we delved deeper into Adi's interests, we realized that much of his time would be spent on screens. His passions included video making, AI, coding, and other tech-related activities.

While we embraced these interests, we also recognized the need to balance screen time with other experiences. This understanding pushed us to start traveling, meeting people who were on similar journeys.

These interactions provided us with valuable insights and connections, helping us learn more about the world of alternative education.

Managing time became another crucial aspect of our journey. We had to learn how to balance work and life in a way that allowed me to be available to support Adi's learning.

This meant rethinking my own work and finding ways to make it flexible enough to accommodate our new lifestyle.

There is a lot to figure out when you choose this path. You have to stay curious, keep learning, and sometimes seek guidance from those who are already walking this road.

It's a continuous process of growth, not just for your child, but for you as well. You become a co-learner, exploring the world together and discovering new ways to approach learning.

This journey has been transformative for us. It has taught us to be more intentional about our choices, to prioritize our passions, and to embrace the freedom that comes with designing our own learning path.

Though it can be challenging at times, the rewards are immense, and the lessons we've learned along the way have been invaluable.
