I

strongly believe that kids should be aware of the important events and incidents that happened in history. One of the most crucial events in American history is 9/11. Children will come across this topic as they grow up, and they need to have a clear understanding of what happened on that day.

It can be difficult to talk about the 9/11 terrorist attacks with kids. But it's important to help them understand what happened and how it has affected our world today.

Here are some tips for discussing 9/11 with kids:

- Find out what they already know. Ask them what they've heard about 9/11 and what they think happened.

- Keep your explanation simple. Use age-appropriate language to explain what happened.

- Answer their questions honestly. They may have lots of questions about why this happened and who did it. Try to answer them as best you can.

- Help them express their feelings. It's normal for kids to feel scared or sad when talking about 9/11. Let them know it's OK to feel this way and offer comfort and support.

- Reassure them that they're safe. Kids may worry that something like this could happen again. Tell them that people are working hard to keep us all safe.

- Explain what's being done to remember the victims. Help them understand why it's important to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11.

- emphasize that most people are good. Kids need to know that the actions of a few bad people don't represent the whole world. There are more good people than bad in the world.

- Encourage them to talk about their feelings. Let them know that it's OK to talk about 9/11 and how they're feeling. If they don't want to talk, that's OK too. Just let them know you're there if they need to talk.

Talking about 9/11 can be tough for both kids and adults. But it's important to have these conversations to help everyone understand what happened and how it has affected our world today.

My son wanted to know how the hijack happened- how they took over the planes. I explained that the hijackers were very determined and had planned everything out ahead of time. They were also willing to die for their cause, which made them even more dangerous.

About the Twin Towers- I explained that the Twin Towers were the tallest buildings in New York City and that many people worked there. When the planes hit them, they collapsed and fell to the ground.

How the attack affected the airlines?

- I explained that the attacks were a big shock to everyone and that it took some time for the airlines to recover. Many people were afraid to fly after 9/11, so the airlines had to work hard to regain people's trust.

I also talked about how the world has changed since 9/11. I explained that we have to be more careful now when we travel. We have to go through security checkpoints at the airport and we can't bring certain items on planes. I also explained that there is a higher level of alertness in the world now for possible terrorist attacks.

I also talked about how this event has changed our world today. I also explained that this event made people more aware of the threat of terrorism and that we now have to be vigilant to prevent something like this from happening again.

Who was Bin Laden and how he was captured?

I explained that Bin Laden was the leader of the terrorist group that carried out the 9/11 attacks. He was eventually captured and killed by American forces in 2011. My son was curious to understand the strategy that was used to capture him and I explained that it took many years of hard work and dedication by the military and intelligence services to finally track him down.

It was reassuring for him to know that people are working hard to keep us safe and that we have made progress in the fight against terrorism since 9/11.

My son asked me if terrorists are still there and if we need to be worried about them. I explained that there are still terrorist groups in the world, but that we have made a lot of progress in recent years in combating them. I reassured him that people are working hard to keep us safe and that we should not let the actions of a few bad people define our view of the world.
