earning doesn't just happen inside a classroom – it can happen anywhere and anytime. That's why my son, Adi, and I decided to embark on a journey of worldschooling, where we take our education beyond the boundaries of formal schooling and learn through exploration.

It's been 13 exciting days into the new year, and we have started our journey to exploration and learning.

I want to share our worldschooling adventures and how we optimize our learning experiences to gain knowledge, skills, and understanding of the world around us.

Come along with us as we explore the world of learning beyond traditional classrooms.

Learning a new language has always been our priority; we have started French and German lessons this year. Adi uses Duolingo to learn French, while I use the same app for German lessons.

We finally bought the Duolingo pack to upgrade our learning experience. We also plan to enhance our reading skills this year with a paid Kindle Unlimited subscription.

We read every night, mainly before bed, and Amar Chithra Katha biographies, history, or books that pique our interest. It's a great way to wind down and feed our curiosity.

Keeping track of our learning journey is essential, and Adi has started his blog to share his daily learning experiences. He writes about the different things he learns daily and how he applies them to everyday life.

Adi is practising his maths on Khan Academy. Meanwhile, I research and write for educationnext.in, an online education magazine, which complements our world schooling journey and enhances our understanding of global education topics.

One of the significant changes we implemented this year is waking up early for our walk while Adi cycles. This helps us organize our daily routines and achieve a more consistent schedule.

We also reflect on our days by sharing about our day. It's a great way to talk about what we learned, any challenges we faced, and how we can improve.

Adi has a passion for coding, and he spends his time learning Flutter and coding every day with the help of his mentor.

He also knows AI with his mentor and friends on Sundays, and we are still working on a better schedule to achieve our learning goals consistently. That's why we list things to do the next day, facilitating better planning and organization.

Adi started reading Harry Potter recently, and we also started watching Young Sheldon together. We watch the TedEd videos together on topics we like to explore; we spend much time discussing what we learn and how it can be applied daily.

These discussions help us understand each other better and develop our perspectives.

Our worldschooling journey encompasses different themes and subjects, and we approach each day as an opportunity for exploration. We learn through hands-on experiences, immersive cultural experiences, and online resources.

Every day is a new adventure, and we are excited about the different discoveries we make.

Worldschooling offers a unique way to learn and discover the world around us. It's an unconventional approach, but it has proven to be an enriching learning experience.

From learning new languages and reading different books to applying our knowledge through coding and reflecting on our learnings, we have embarked on a journey to discover the world through continuous learning.

We hope this has inspired you to explore the world of education beyond traditional classrooms and embrace lifelong learning. Happy learning!
